Levison Wood is a world renowned explorer, writer & photographer. His eight critically-acclaimed television series (airing on Channel 4, Discovery, Amazon etc) have been broadcast around the world and he is the author of eleven best-selling books.
He has travelled and filmed in over one hundred countries worldwide. His expeditions include walking the entire length of the river Nile, the Himalayas, Central America, crossing the Caucasus, and circumnavigating the Arabian Peninsula. His latest series about endangered animals aired in August 2023 on Channel 4.
Levison spent a number of years as a Regular Officer in the British Parachute Regiment, where he served in Afghanistan fighting against Taliban insurgents in Helmand and Kandahar. His military service has seen him deployed on operations and exercises on five continents.
He is the Chancellor of Staffordshire University, an elected Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, the Explorers Club & an ambassador of Leica, Unicef and for a number of other charities and brands. When not abroad Levison lives in London.
